Domaine Vincent Pinard : Harmonie 2023

An elegant and well-balanced white wine from the Loire

The estate

In the heart of the Sancerre appellation, in Bué, the Domaine Vincent Pinard has been perpetuating winemaking expertise for several centuries, remaining faithful to a resolutely traditional approach. Its 17 hectares, planted on the hills of Bué, are cultivated with a philosophy focused on respecting the environment and the ecosystem. In this spirit, no chemical weedkillers or equivalent methods are used. Vincent Pinard favors minimal intervention, striving above all to guide the vine with precision in order to harvest only the finest grapes. Guided by this respect for each parcel, the estate’s wines precisely express the full range of these Loire terroirs.

The vineyard

“Harmonie” comes from vines averaging 45 years of age, located in the lieux-dits Chêne Marchand and Grand Chemarin. The soils are characterized by the presence of limestone stones emblematic of the Sancerrois.

Winemaking and aging

After manual harvesting, during which an initial selection of the grapes is carried out, the berries are then sorted on a vibrating table. Pneumatic pressing is then performed. This Sancerre blanc is subsequently fermented and aged on its lees for 11 months, both in tanks (1/3) and in new barrels (2/3).

Harmonie 2023 from Vincent Pinard is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
