Decanter

Floral and nicely scented on the nose, with milk chocolate and blackcurrants. Smooth and supple, with a nice energy and liveliness, bright and vibrant sweet strawberry and red cherry fruit with a bit of bite that makes it appealing and moreish. Some tension; it keeps its frame but has a really appealing juicy texture and fruitiness. Straight and lean with a hefty dose of spice, yet appealingly textured with concentrated fruit and underlying strength. Full-on with a slightly toasted finish.

This is really delicious, with ultra-fine tannins that spread across the palate and caress your mouth. It’s medium-bodied with lovely, succulent blackcurrants and dark berries and just a hint of chocolate. Savory. Second wine of Quintus. Drinkable now in many ways, but better in 2027 and beyond.

Charming from the initial sniff, and sniff, the wine kicks off cherries, a touch of herbs, spice, and tobacco leaf in the perfume. The medium-bodied wine is elegant, fresh, and ready to go, with its ripe cherry and plummy profile. The wine blends 73% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Malbec. Drink from 2026-2036.

Heavy spice, juicy black fruits, this is intense and concentrated, with a trace of heat, but plenty of personality. 3.65pH. 28% new oak. Harvest September 7 (their earliest to date) through to September 23. No external consultant. Now with the addition of Château Grand Pontet, great terroir just behind Beauséjour-Becot, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc dating back to 1945.

Le Figaro Vin

A sparkling, irresistible nose of fresh, crisp summer berries. On the palate, a smooth, caressing texture with exquisite indulgence, while remaining delicately light. The bright, fresh, succulent fruit extends into a long, lively finish that’s playful and finely peppery.

Dark, purple color. Very aromatic nose, delicate, fruity, pure, ripe and sun-kissed. Juicy on the attack, the wine unfolds with supple flesh, flavorful, with a warm touch on the finish (15.7% alcohol). I trust this very professional team to ensure it is well covered during élevage. Blend: 81.6% Merlot, 12.1% Cabernet Franc, 6.3% Malbec. pH: 3.65 - IPT: 68.
