Very aromatic with sliced-mushroom, berry, and dark-bark aromas and flavors. Dark chocolate, too. Medium-bodied with integrated tannins and a savory finish. Structured, yet balanced second wine of Nenin. 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. Drink after 2026.

90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Cask sample. Juicy and expressive with gourmand fruit and a meaty, savoury edge. Supple tannins give it early accessibility. Maintains freshness but there is a glow of alcohol on the finish. (JL)

Bright, fresh, juicy, lifted and fruity, the wine focuses on its core of lifted, sweet, ripe red fruits, savory herbs and flowers. Drink this with pleasure while waiting for the Grand Vin to develop. 89-91 pts

90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Deep purple with an opaque core and purple rim. Intense wild-berry bouquet with hints of lilac and violet behind. On the palate, a soft texture, finely sandy extract and a medium mid-palate. Aromatic finish with plenty of density and power, blue berries, cherry fruit and licorice. As good as ever! 10% amphorae are used.

Herbs, restrained, delicately vegetal bouquet, cherries, strawberries, herbs, smoke. A firm, medium-bodied palate with sweet fruit, medium aromatics, a slender structure, good tannins, and a fine finish. Can improve further. 16/20 2024 - 2036

A spicy, lively nose with red-fruit notes—vibrant and seductive. A wine whose palate mirrors the nose, revealing the same freshness, crunch, and acidity, yet already hinting at a fine potential for indulgent pleasure.

Beautiful dark color. Lovely, very aromatic nose with ripe fruit. A soft, suave palate, very pleasant, with a rare tactile softness for the cru. Medium length. Blend: 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Alcohol: 14.1%. pH: 3.63 – IPT: 72.

Deep violet colour, the fruit is kept in play by low temperature fermentation and careful extraction showcasing the seductive, silky aspect of Pomerol. Crayon and slate, set against berry fruits. Harvest September 10 (one week earlier than 2019). 20% new oak. A yield of 36hl/ha, around 25% lower than usual. 20% new oak, 3.63pH.
