Les Hauts de Pontet-Carnet is Château Pontet-Carnet's second wine from the Pauillac appellation. The blend consists of 55.9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39.2% Merlot and 4.9% Cabernet Franc.

At tasting, Les Hauts de Pontet-Canet 1995 has a beautiful deep ruby colour. The nose exudes intense aromas, announcing a mature vintage. On the palate, the wine offers rich flavours with touches of black fruit, while the tannins are densely structured. A very distinguished wine made for ageing.
