Falstaff

Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, brightening to the rim. Slate SAVOURY UNDERLAY/BACKGROUND black berry confit, notes of blueberries, tobacco nuances, still somewhat restrained bouquet. Complex, tightly meshed, taut, fine sweetness, ripe tannins, chocolate touch, pickled cherries, DELICATE figs, mineral-salty in the finish, certain ageing potential for many years.
