Founded in 1881 by William Robertson and the Greenlees brothers during the Scottish whisky boom, Bunnahabhain stands out as the northernmost distillery on Islay, nestled at the mouth of the Margadale River. Owned by Distell Group since 2013, it has the largest production capacity on the island with four stills.
