Appearance
A pale gold hue, entirely natural, resulting from authentic ageing without any addition of caramel.

Nose
An indulgent opening dominated by vanilla and coconut, which evolves elegantly towards delicate floral notes of jasmine and chamomile. The whole is supported by a woody structure of fresh oak.

Palate
The attack is resolutely fruity, revealing flavoursome notes of mirabelle plum, quince and apricot. The mid-palate brings a lovely vegetal freshness evoking cut grass and sugar cane, subtly enhanced by a tangy citrus touch. The finish lingers with finesse on spicy notes of white pepper and clove.

Pairings and tasting moments
This highly versatile whisky can be enjoyed neat to fully appreciate its complexity, as well as on the rocks, where the freshness brings out its floral and fruity notes. It also lends itself perfectly to a long serve, particularly with sparkling water for a moment of optimal refreshment.

Mixology
The balanced profile of this spirit makes it a prime choice for mixology. The estate recommends enjoying it in a Highball (5 cl of whisky, 15 cl of sparkling water and a slice of lemon), but it also excels in revisited classics such as the Old Fashioned, the Boulevardier, the Sour, the Manhattan, the Espresso Martini or the Basil Smash.

Founded in 2023 in Paris, in the 16th arrondissement, Laferté is a contemporary French blending house that rethinks the traditional boundaries of spirits. At the head of this estate, operating under the Allianspirits entity, co-founders Adrien Douady (also Master Blender), Loys Vallon de Testa and Anthony Davoigniot have made the bold choice to move away from classic distillation in order to focus exclusively on the art of selection and blending. By sourcing high-quality malt distillates, this modern trading house gives priority to transparency, the diversity of terroirs and innovation. Laferté thus aspires to establish French whisky as a true stronghold on the international stage, by offering creations that combine the historic savoir-faire of French luxury with a resolutely free and universal philosophy.

The Classique: A bold blended whisky
The Classique is the founding expression of the House, a Blended Malt Whisky crafted exclusively from 100% malted barley. This non-vintage French whisky perfectly illustrates the brand's philosophy: prioritising the consistency of the aromatic profile and creative freedom over the constraint of an age statement.

The crafting of this spirit relies on particularly meticulous cask management. The blend brings together malts aged in three distinct cask types, in strict proportions: 60% ex-bourbon casks, which provide softness and the natural pale gold colour, 20% ex-cognac casks for floral complexity, and 20% ex-agricole rum casks, a rarity in the industry, which lend a subtle warmth to the whole.

Bottled at 41% Vol., this Whisky opts for an intermediate alcohol strength, designed to offer an accessible tasting experience while preserving genuine organoleptic depth.
