Its color reveals a natural golden acorn hue, rich and translucent, achieved without any artificial coloring thanks to three decades spent in sherry wood.

Nose
The bouquet reveals a complex, layered palette. It opens with aromas of fresh honeycomb, crystallized sugar and rich toffee, complemented by notes of fresh red apple, dried fig, Madagascar vanilla and subtly integrated oak.

Palate
The palate offers a truly velvety symphony. It unfolds warm flavors of cinnamon, fresh and ground ginger, along with rich Madagascar vanilla. Notes of dried fruit such as raisins, apricots and dates intertwine with perfectly integrated oak and caramelized sugar. The finish is exceptionally long and rich, lingering on notes of sweet toffee, gentle spices and polished oak for nearly a minute.

Pairing Tips and Tasting Moments
This after-dinner spirit pairs remarkably well with dark chocolate containing at least 70% cocoa, its bitterness enhancing the notes of dried fruit and vanilla. For the more adventurous, a blue cheese such as Roquefort or Stilton will highlight the whisky's sweetness. On the savory side, it pairs ideally with roast duck. For an optimal tasting experience, it is recommended to pour the spirit and let it rest for 30 minutes. Skip the first sip to calibrate your palate, then hold the second sip in your mouth for 45 seconds to fully grasp its complexity. A drop of water may be added for a third sip if desired.

This Single Malt embodies the innovative philosophy of the Double Cask range by harmoniously blending two distinct wood profiles. The precise blend, crafted by the Whisky Mastery Team, is based on 43% European oak casks and 57% American oak casks, all previously seasoned with Oloroso sherry in the Jerez region of Spain.

American oak imparts soft notes of creamy vanilla and citrus, while European oak, richer in tannins, gives the whisky deep aromas of dried fruit and spice. This three-decade-long chemical dialogue between the distillate and the wood shapes between 70 and 80% of the final aromatic profile.

Presented in a luxurious solid oak box fitted with magnetic clasps, this bottle underscores the vital role of wood in its creation. To mark this prestigious release, the brand also collaborated with visual artist Erik Madigan Heck, creating photographic works inspired by the complex nature of this spirit. Although it remains part of an ongoing production, this bottle is a highly limited edition, prized by collectors and connoisseurs alike.
