A Petite Champagne Cognac of great elegance by Bache-Gabrielsen

Maison Bache-Gabrielsen: the Franco-Norwegian soul of Cognac
Founded in 1905 by the young Norwegian Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, Maison Bache-Gabrielsen stands out for its dual Franco-Scandinavian identity. Based in the heart of the town of Cognac, this independent family business has stood the test of time by combining tradition and innovation. Now led by Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen, the fourth generation, as Chairman and CEO, the house maintains long-standing partnerships with local winegrowers. Deeply committed to transparency, traceability and social responsibility, it is known for practices that respect the terroir, an approach crowned by the B Corp certification expected in 2025. Bache-Gabrielsen thus embodies a modern, ethical vision of the spirits of the Charente.

Years in Cask 14 Years Old Petite Champagne 2011: the pure expression of a rare vintage
Years in Cask 14 Years Old Petite Champagne 2011 is a limited cuvée that highlights the influence of time and the unique expression of a terroir. Crafted exclusively from Ugni Blanc harvested in 2011, this Cognac comes entirely from the prestigious Petite Champagne cru. This particular vintage benefited from especially favourable weather conditions, marked by a mild, dry spring and autumn, as well as warm months of April and October. These factors led to early, even ripening, resulting in low yields but a rare harvest with concentrated, expressive aromas.

The eau-de-vie was then aged for an extended 14 years in Limousin oak casks, allowing the wood to develop its complexity while preserving the natural freshness of the distillate. Bottled in 2026, this edition is a prized piece for connoisseurs. To showcase this rarity, the house offers this beautifully balanced spirit in two elegant presentations: a Tradition gift box or a white case, underlining the exclusive character of this creation.
