Based across three strategic sites along the Garonne, Lucien Bernard oversees an exceptional range of more than 200 distinct types of alcohol, made from wine, grains, apples, and beets. Lucien Bernard Brandy Cuvée XO N°1 is an anniversary cuvée, released as a limited series of 5,864 numbered units, created to celebrate 90 years of the House’s history. This XO-classified wine eau-de-vie is crafted from a complex blend sourced from 4 countries, 3 grape varieties, and 2 distillation methods. The composition is as follows: 2/3 from South Africa, 1/4 from the Charentes, 1/18 from Armagnac, and 1/100 from Australia. Produced in Bordeaux, this brandy is made from 100% pure wine and is aged in French oak barrels, with a minimum of 6 months in small oak barrels or 12 months in large vats.
