Stewart, The Balvenie has innovated by finishing some of its whiskies in special casks, adding a unique dimension to its single malts.

A great Scotch whisky crafted through a singular process

Developed starting in 1993, this Scotch whisky comes from the maturation process created in 1982 by David Stewart, honorary ambassador and former Malt Master of the House. The spirit first undergoes several years of aging in American bourbon barrels, imparting vanilla and spicy notes, before continuing its maturation in European oak ex-sherry casks, bringing complexity as well as delicious honeyed and fruity aromas.
