The launch of SFO (Single Farm Origin) Lakefield Edition 1.1 marks the continuation of Waterford Distillery's revolutionary commitment to quality and traceability across its releases. Distilled from barley grown in 2016 in County Laois by Seamus Duggan, Lakefield Edition 1.1 is a perfect expression of a singular terroir. The well-drained clay soil of Duggan's farm lends this Irish whiskey distinctive characteristics, with malty, indulgent flavours to the fore, enhanced by delicate notes of conifer resin, flowers and gentle spices.
