Bouchard Père & Fils : Bonnes-Mares Grand cru Domaine 2017

Less immediate than their Échezeaux, though perhaps more concentrated. Seemingly warmer on the finish too. Doesn't make things easy, and leaves quite a bitter impression on the finish. (RH)

For now, less open and less aromatic than the sumptuous Echezeaux from the estate, more restrained, but with complex, classy tannins worthy of the site.

Longer on the palate than wide, it stands out for its beautiful salinity and tannins of real finesse.
