    A fruity and delicate Rosé Champagne

    The estate

    In 1855, Edmond de Ayala traveled to Champagne and in 1860, together with his wife, founded the Champagne Ayala House. Remaining a family business, Maison Ayala has always placed passion and quality at the heart of its ambitions, with the goal of crafting pure, elegant, and refined champagnes. Ayala’s cuvées are naturally enjoyed, with no added dosage. Ayala was the official supplier to the Crown of England. In 2005, Ayala was acquired by the family-owned company Jacques Bollinger.

    The wine

    Crafted from the finest crus of the Champagne region, Ayala’s Rosé Majeur is the perfect expression of the house’s signature delicacy.

    Vinification and aging

    This cuvée is aged for nearly 3 years on its lees. Its dosage is 7g/l.

    Blend

    Chardonnay (50%)
    Pinot Noir (40%), including 6% red wine
    Pinot Meunier (10%).

    Appearance
    The wine displays a delicate pale pink hue.

    Generous and expressive, the nose combines fragrances of red berries and vineyard peaches.

    Light and airy, the palate charms with its freshness, fruity notes (redcurrant, raspberry), and a lingering, voluptuous, fruit-driven finish.
