The estate

Château Closiot is owned by Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens, two iconic producers from the Mâconnais region. Their passion for the wines of Sauternes led them to acquire this Barsac estate in 2017. Here, they produce critically-acclaimed sweet and dry wines of the highest quality.

The vineyard

Located in Barsac, the vineyards of Château Closiot benefit from morning mist and sunny harvests. These conditions are conducive to the development of botrytis, which produces concentrated yet light wines.
