    Robert Parker Wine Advocate

    Robert M. Parker, Jr.

Readers seeking a Burgundian-styled wine with gobs of black cherry fruit, an expansive, savory texture, sexy aromatics, and loads of glycerin and fruit should check out this medium-bodied, lush Pomerol. It should be drunk over the next decade.

Clean and fruity, but rather diluted and light. Still, it's a nice little drink. Drink now. 6,250 cases made.

Very pale color, with a wide watery rim. Herbaceous, vegetal bouquet, with little typicity. On the palate, lean, with fairly fine tannins, a soft texture, and a dull cellar note on the finish. Where is the pleasant, food-friendly de Sales from earlier days?

Deep red color. Medium intensity. Nose of medium intensity. Subtle. Soft, fruity and light, the palate is nevertheless flavorful on the finish and not very tannic. A wine to taste in 2 to 3 years. Simple in terms of length. Seems better balanced to me than it used to be!
