Initially juicy and succulent, quite a streamlined style with lots of dried herbal elements and stony minerality that really gives a grippy, chalky, slate, flint and lingering saltiness to the palate.

Mint, tobacco, and red fruits get the wine started in the nose, before you encounter the crisp, quite bright, red currants, licorice, smoke, espresso, and spice. Give it a year or two in the bottle to soften before pulling a cork. The wine blends 74% Cabernet Sauvignon with 26% Merlot. Drink from 2029-2042. 89-91 Pts

Intense, balanced, good quality, strict and austere, cassis, bilberry, tightly wound with some dried fruit and herb character but plenty of character and will soften over ageing. Tasted twice, 35hl/h yield.

Subtle notes of fresh oak, black cherries and blueberries, followed by a touch of peppermint. Silky on the attack, the wine shows a taut character, though its tannins are rather velvety. It is probably the structure that underpins its temperament! A wine with character that, hopefully, will blossom during its ageing.

Deep black color. Moderately intense, fruity nose. Fleshy on the attack, with presence through the mid-palate and a beautifully wrapped body, the wine develops with savoriness into a very fruity finish, showing the most velvety tannic texture ever seen for this cru. Even more aromatic, too. Blend: 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot. Alcohol: 13.5%. Yield: 35 hl/ha.

Dark fruit, smoke and floral notes on the nose; a straightforward palate, firm and well-structured, powerful yet elegant, with juicy fruit and a balanced finish. A classic Listrac with good aging potential.
