Description
The harmony and structure of a Bordeaux Supérieur wine
The estate
The Château Francs Magnus covers 13 hectares, planted on a limestone plateau that offers ideal conditions for vine growing. This unique terroir contributes to the distinctive personality of its wines.
The wine
Hailing from the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, Francs Magnus reveals an authentic expression of its terroir thanks to a uniform vineyard, cultivated with rigor and exacting standards.
Vinification and aging
The harvest undergoes a meticulous sorting process to retain only the highest quality berries. No foot treading is carried out, thus preserving the fruit’s freshness. Vinification takes place in stainless steel and cement vats, accompanied by pumping over and rack and return. Aging in vats (70%) and in one-wine barrels (30%).
Blend
This Château Francs Magnus 2024 is the result of a blend of merlot (90%) and cabernet franc (10%).
