Characteristics and tasting advice for Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey 2002

    Tasting

Widely acclaimed by critics, Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey 2002 is among others depicted by Bettane & Desseauve - The great guide to French wines in the following terms : « A marvel of purity and subtlety, with fruit completely preserved from any touch of oxidation or alteration, wonderfully melted wood to the liqueur, a great seducer ». Internationally, this vintage is seen by the prestigious Wine Spectator as « very pretty for the vintage with lots of lemony honey and vanilla aromas. Full-bodied, very sweet with dried pineapple, apricot and a subtle spicy finish. The best after 2001 ».
