The property

The origins of the Château Laffitte Carcasset date back to the early 18th century. Located in the heart of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, Château Laffitte Carcasset is surrounded by the greatest Bordeaux crus. Having been part of the Rousseau family since 2016, the property, classified as a Superior Cru Bourgeois, is a reference in the appellation.

The vineyard

Château Laffitte-Carcasset oversees a 40-hectare vineyard. Located on the plateau of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, the vines are planted on Garonne gravel soils and clay-limestone subsoils.

The wine

The property opened a new chapter in its history in 2020, by planting Chardonnay on their "La Rochette" plot, which rests on limestone soil.

Vinification and aging

Produced as a French wine, this cuvée is exclusively aged in barrels.
