    Decanter

A perfumed and floral aroma. Supple and lively, a lovely relaxed cool blueberry and fresh mint aspect with bright acidity in the background, nothing tart, but lifting the frame. Quite a straight style, but really well defined, with mouthwatering acidity and such a clean and precise finish with a lick of limestone graphite and slate that is really moreish. Power but smooth and approachable. Very transparent to its terroir. Ends just so well, you want another glass straight away. 3.7pH. 67 IPT. Ageing 30% new oak, 5% amphoras.

Blackberries, licorice, cocoa, espresso, and flowers form the core of the character here. Medium-bodied, fresh, soft, and round, this is perfect for early drinking pleasure. You can enjoy it on release, and for over a decade after that. The wine blends 61% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 9% Petit Verdot. 12.5% ABV. Drink from 2028-2045. 91-93 Pts

Glass-staining purple colours, this is well rounded, lovely balance, firm tannins that take on more of a bite as things climb through the palate. Structured, enjoyable, cassis and sandalwood. 30% new oak, Eric Boissenot consultant. Certified organic since 2024 vintage.

Half of the Merlot in the blend comes from vines grown on clay-limestone soils. Notes of blackcurrant and peppermint bridge the gap between dark and bright, between freshness and ripeness! Sleek on the attack, the wine unfolds with linearity and freshness. Its velvety tannins, in step with the crisp edge of the acidity, provide solid support, and the wine gains dimension across the palate. The power of Lilian-Ladouys is well controlled, and you can clearly sense that freshness was the priority, in an overall decidedly powerful context!

Bright red color with purple highlights. An intense nose with ripe, subtle fruit. Delicate on the attack and very flavorful on the mid-palate, with meticulous development, this juicy wine with a silky texture stretches into a pleasant finish, carried by perfectly integrated tannins. Its low alcohol level is a delight for the drinker. It can be enjoyed in summer. Blend: 61% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot. Alcohol: 12.46% – pH: 3.10 – IPT: 67. Aging: 30% in new oak and 5% in amphorae.

    Vinum

Fine and delicate, still a little shy, with smoky notes, followed by dark fruit and cherry compote; on the palate it is fresh, cool and mineral-driven, with powdery tannins enveloping the delicate fruit; the finish is salty with good persistence. It will be enjoyable early on.

The elegance of a great Saint-Estèphe terroir at Château Lilian Ladouys

    The estate
Located in the famous region of Bordeaux, Château Lilian Ladouys has its first historical references dating back to 1654. This 80-hectare vineyard has established itself as a reliable name within its appellation, crowned with the status of Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in 2020. Today, Château Lilian Ladouys is passionately run by Jacky and Françoise Lorenzetti, joined by their daughter Manon. Committed to environmentally friendly viticulture, the estate officially obtained its organic farming certification in 2024, illustrating its determination to combine quality, accessibility and respect for nature.

    The vineyard
The vineyard, rooted in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, comprises 48 hectares of vines in production divided into 90 plots. The vines, aged between 25 and 45 years, thrive on a mosaic of soils made up of 80% gravel (Peyrosols) ensuring excellent drainage, and 20% clay-limestone bedrock that promotes water retention and mineral complexity. The whole is farmed according to the demanding principles of organic agriculture.

    The vintage
The 2025 year produced a balanced vintage, marked by beautiful freshness and perfectly controlled water stress. These climatic conditions allowed for very precise ripening, yielding small but highly concentrated berries. The harvest took place from 9 to 22 September for Merlot, from 12 to 23 September for Cabernet Sauvignon, from 17 to 22 September for Cabernet Franc, and from 19 to 22 September for Petit Verdot. Alcohol content: 12.46% vol.

    Winemaking and aging
Aged in new oak (30%) and amphorae (5%).

    Grape varieties
This wine is made from a blend of 61% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petit Verdot.
