    Description

    Chateau Lynch-Moussas 2015: a Pauillac with supple tannins

    Chateau Lynch-Moussas is a Fifth Classified Growth in the Pauillac appellation. The 55-hectare vineyard grows in silica-gravel soils. The 2015 vintage harvest took place from September 17 to October 1st. The wine is aged in barrels for an average of 14 to 18 months. The Chateau Lynch-Moussas 2015 is made from a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot.

    At tasting, the Chateau Lynch-Moussas 2015 develops raspberry and wild strawberry aromas. When aerated, there are well-integrated woody and forest floor notes. On the palate, the wine is moderately full-bodied, offering supple tannins and a lovely acidity. The Chateau Lynch-Moussas 2015 reveals a spicy and extremely persistent finish.
