An exceptional Madiran red wine
La Tyre 2015 from Chateau Montus is named after a district in the commune of Castelnau-Riviere-Basse in the Madiran appellation. The wine is 100% Tannat and only the finest grapes are chosen. The steep slopes that the vines are planted on are a mixture of pebbles and red clay. The wine is aged for approximately 14-16 months in new barrels and reared on lees.
"La Tyre" 2015 is rich, deep, and structurally complex. The wine is distinguished by its finesse and magnificently balanced tannins. On the palate, this Madiran is elegant and artistically combines freshness and harmony.
