Château Palmer 2008

Lovely violet-tinted garnet colour, Chateau Palmer 2008 exhibits fruity and floral notes on an otherwise gentle nose. Aeration reveals forward, rich red fruits. The vintage distinctive freshness and delicate aromas were preserved in this Margaux. Round and fleshy body, rich fruits, and well-built tannins belie the natural freshness (acidity) found in the attack. The expected fragrances and soft tannins are inherent to this vintage which also offers decent length on the finish. Chateau Palmer 2008 is as enjoyable straight way as it will be in a decade or so.
