The generosity of a Sauternes Premier Cru Classé of 1855
Château Suduiraut is one of the iconic Premiers Crus Classés of 1855 and is located in the Sauternes appellation in the wine region of Bordeaux. This great sweet wine comes from a selection of the best parcels of the property.
The 2018 vintage required four successive passes, between October 10th and November 9th, due to a late onset of botrytis cinerea. The total yield was between 5 and 6hl / ha! Matured for 16 to 20 months in 50% new barrels and 50% barrels of one previous wine, this 100% Sémillon Sauternes wine is characterised by an impressive aromatic complexity. Very elegant, with a bright golden robe, it exudes aromas of flowers and roasted fruits. Both refreshing and sensual, the Château Suduiraut 2018 coats the palate with warm spices and a mineral freshness that makes the palate feel very balanced. This rich and generous wine has significant ageing potential. It will surely offer a different experience at each stage of its evolution.
