Jancis Robinson

One-third new oak. Racked in September. Bright cherry red. Frank, intriguing red-fruit aromas and then very notable acidity and fine tannins on the palate. Then some bitterness. Could definitely do with a bit more flesh. Harsh and unfriendly. (JR)
