The property

The Domaine des Sénéchaux is a vineyard whose origins date back to the 14th century. Taking its name from the Bois Sénéchaux district, one of the most important plots of the property, the Domaine des Sénéchaux was acquired in 2006 by the Cazes family, owners of the prestigious Château Lynch-Bages, Grand Cru Classé de Pauillac.

The vineyard

The Domaine des Sénéchaux oversees a 3-hectare plot that gives birth to a great white wine from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Facing south/south-west, the vines are planted on a superficial soil composed of sand, clay and limestone.

Depending on the vintages, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Domaine des Sénéchaux is made from typical vineyards of the Rhône Valley such as roussanne, clairette, white grenache and bourboulenc.
