A Burgundian monopole with vibrant red fruit and marked minerality

    The estate

Founded in 1825 by Pierre Faiveley in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Domaine Faiveley extends over more than 120 hectares, including 12 Grands Crus and 22 Premiers Crus, six of which are monopoles. Managed since 2005 by Erwan Faiveley, joined in 2014 by his sister Eve, this seventh-generation family Maison remains one of the largest vineyard owners in Bourgogne. Certified organic in July 2025, the year of its bicentennial, the domaine combines age-old tradition with environmental commitment.

    The vineyard

La Framboisière has been a monopole of the domaine since 1933, located in the immediate vicinity of the Clos Rochette plot. This Mercurey parcel covers 11 hectares and 11 ares, planted between 1949 and 2022. The shallow, stony, clay-limestone soils offer excellent drainage. At the bottom of the slope, a mixture of clay and silt creates a more compact, cooler terroir. The name of this plot comes from the presence of raspberry bushes, a characteristic that is also found on the palate. The vineyard is farmed organically.

    Grape variety

    100% Pinot Noir.
