    The estate

Established in Nuits-Saint-Georges since 1825, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, the Domaine Faiveley is one of the most renowned estates in Burgundy. Since 2005, the seventh generation, represented by Erwan and Eve Faiveley, has passionately continued the family tradition. With a vineyard spanning more than 120 hectares, the estate stands out for its scale and prestige, owning remarkable plots in Grands Crus and Premiers Crus.

    The vineyard

Originally based in the Côte de Nuits, Domaine Faiveley has gradually extended its vineyard into the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Today, it owns 12 Grands Crus and 25 Premiers Crus in Bourgogne, an exceptional heritage. The "Champ Gain" plot, covering 10 hectares, is located just below "La Garenne," on the upper slopes of the wine-growing region. Its name refers to "land gained from the forest." Domaine Faiveley has owned it since 2014.

    The wine

The cuvée “Las” (meaning “hillside” in Latin) is a Montagny 1er cru wine from a 0.19-hectare plot planted in 1995 on a stony clay-limestone soil scattered with calcified oysters.

    Grape variety

    100% Chardonnay.
