The property
Established for over a thousand years in Chablis, Burgundy, the Domaine Laroche is one of the great names of the appellation. Having joined the Advini group in 2009, it continues a constant quest for excellence, combining traditional know-how and a contemporary approach. Its wines, of great finesse, reveal with precision all the complexity of the Chablis climates and testify to the unique identity of each terroir.

The vineyard
The Grand Cru "Les Blanchots" is located to the east of the mythical hill of the Grands Crus. Its soil, typical of the Kimmeridgian, combines marls rich in marine fossils and white clays, giving the wines an intense mineral structure and a chiseled texture. Of the 12.7 hectares that make up this cru, the estate exploits 4.56, facing east/southeast. This privileged exposure, which captures the first rays of the sun, promotes a slow and homogeneous maturation of the grapes, giving birth to complex and structured Chablis wines, imbued with freshness.

Vinification and aging
Each plot is hand-harvested, then vinified separately to preserve the unique expression of each terroir. Depending on the profile of the batch, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks or in barrels. The final blend is rigorously selected: only the most precise and balanced cuvées are chosen to compose the Réserve de l'Obédience, an emblematic cuvée offering a pure and racey interpretation of this Grand Cru.
