The Estate
Domaine Olivier Pithon was founded in 2001. Immersed in the world of vines from a very young age, Olivier Pithon acquired 7 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Roussillon in 2001 and benefited from the support of Domaine Gauby in his early days.
The Vineyard
A benchmark among the great wines of Roussillon, Domaine Olivier Pithon tends a vineyard that was fully converted to biodynamics in 2014.
The Wine
Cuvée Laïs 2018 is an IGP Côtes Catalanes wine made from vines grown on clay-limestone soil composed of schist and marl.
Vinification and Ageing
Hand harvested. Direct pressing. Aged for 10 months, half in wooden vats and half in barrels.
Blend
Laïs 2018 is a blend of Macabeu, Grenache Gris and Grenache Blanc.
