La RVF

A smoky, pencil-lead nose sets the tone. On the palate, the fruit’s density seems supported by barrel tannins. This makes for a broad wine with volume, and the purity of the fruit is slightly nuanced.

Description

A Complex Red Wine from Echézeaux

The Echézeaux Grand Cru from Domaine René Bouvier is a single-varietal Pinot Noir wine produced in the Echézeaux appellation in Burgundy. The total production area covers 30 ares.

On tasting, the Echézeaux Grand Cru 2014 from Domaine René Bouvier shows a brilliant ruby colour with violet highlights. The palate displays suppleness and density, unveiling a textured, fleshy wine that is richly concentrated. The finish offers a wealth of flavours that underline the wine's complexity, with black fruit, sweet spices and delicate notes of violet, already perceptible on the nose. A fresh Grand Cru, refined and balanced, set to develop harmoniously over time.
