A red wine from Pauillac, power and flexibility

Echo de Lynch-Bages is the second wine of Chateau Lynch-Bages. This cuvee is produced in the Pauillac appellation, from a vineyard on the hillsides of the Garonne. Echo de Lynch-Bages is only aged in barrels. Echo de Lynch-Bages is a blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot.

2016 for Chateau Lynch-Bages experienced extreme weather conditions, but produced an exceptional wine. After blossoming, summer settled in on June 25^th. Characterised by its heat and dryness, rain saved the maturation process on September 13^th. The vines received the water that they needed in order to mature perfectly.

Echo de Lynch-Bages 2016 proudly emits fresh fruit fragrances. These fragrances are complemented by woody and spicy notes, by-products of the ageing process. It is well-balanced and reveals round, seductive tannins. This is a second wine that beautifully combines flexibility and power.
