Johnnie Walker : Blue Label
Description
Johnnie Walker signs an intense, woody blended malt whisky
The brand: Johnnie Walker
Founded in 1820 in the rural reaches of Scotland by John Walker in Kilmarnock, the Johnnie Walker House now boasts unique and exceptional expertise. Inspired by techniques used in tea-making, blending relies on combining malts with varied character as well as on the skills of Master Blender Jim Beveridge, the House’s 5th Master Blender, recognized by his peers as one of the very best.
To enable him to craft a whisky with a unique, richer, and more balanced taste, the House of Walker holds Scotland’s largest whisky reserves: over 10 million casks across 28 time-honored distilleries.
A great whisky born from a unique blend
Blue Label is a Scotch Whisky born of an extremely rigorous selection. Indeed, only one cask from the House’s vast collection of distilleries is rare and of sufficient quality to be part of Blue Label. Most of the malts used for this blend have undergone a particularly long maturation of over 45 years in cask. In addition, part of it comes from legendary distilleries that are now closed, whose rare remaining casks are among the most sought-after in the world.
This exceptional Blended Malt Whisky is presented in a magnificent, refined gift box, accompanied by two glasses for tasting.
