A gastronomic rosé from Margaux combining finesse and liveliness

    The Estate

Located on the left bank of Bordeaux, the Château Giscours is a historic estate of the Margaux appellation with vines first planted in the 16th century. The superb 3rd Classified Growth of Margaux is a true emblem of the Bordeaux region with its distinctive neoclassical palace-style architecture, its park of rare tree species and its buildings including the beautiful « Ferme Suzanne ». In 1995, Château Giscours entered a new era in its history following its acquisition by Dutch businessman Éric Albada Jelgersma.

    The Vineyard

The vineyard of Château Giscours spans 95 hectares of vines in production out of a total of 300 hectares. A true jewel of the Margaux appellation, the uniqueness of the Château Giscours terroir lies in the presence of three deep Garonne gravel mounds that play a decisive role in the grape maturation cycle.

    The Wine

The Rosé x Giscours 2024 comes from a plot historically dedicated to the production of the Grand Vin, located on deep Garonne gravel terroirs.

    Winemaking and Aging

Hand harvesting followed by vinification comprising direct pressing and low-temperature fermentation in concrete tanks. Only the first pressing juices are selected to ensure freshness and preservation of fruity aromas.
