Pale salmon. An attractive rosé; intense aromas of peaches and sweet pink grapefruit, crisp and polished, good tension, will pair nicely with a light main course. The Giscours team produces this rosé grown on deep gravel soils historically used for Giscours, harvesting early in the morning and low temperature fermentation to protect the fresh aromatic profile.

The Energy and Precision of a Gastronomic Rosé from Château Giscours

    The Estate

Located on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, Château Giscours is a historic estate within the Margaux appellation, with vines first planted in the 16th century. This superb 3rd Cru Classé of Margaux is a true emblem of the Bordeaux region, boasting an imposing neoclassical, palace-like architecture, a park featuring rare tree species, and remarkable buildings, including the beautiful “Ferme Suzanne”. In 1995, Château Giscours began a new chapter in its history following its acquisition by Dutch businessman Éric Albada Jelgersma.

    The Vineyard

The vineyard of Château Giscours spans 95 hectares of vines in production out of a total of 300 hectares. A true jewel of the Margaux appellation, the distinctive character of Château Giscours' terroir lies in the presence of three deep gravel ridges from the Garonne, which play a decisive role in the grape ripening cycle.

    The Wine

The Rosé x Giscours comes from a plot historically dedicated to the production of the Grand Vin, situated on deep Garonne gravel soils.

    Winemaking and Aging

The grapes are hand-harvested early in the morning, followed by a winemaking process that includes direct pressing and low-temperature fermentation in concrete vats. Only first-press musts are selected to ensure freshness and preserve the fruity aromas.

    Grape Variety

    100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
