A bright red, with black cherry and blackberry flavors, whose juicy fruit finds nice equilibrium with dusty tannins. Delivers tobacco and mineral notes, which add depth as this winds down with solid grip. Best from 2024 through 2036. 1,250 cases made, 300 cases imported.

An impressive Gevrey-Chambertain with so much fruity charm, and the gentle tannins underline this very nicely. Thankfully, no attempt was made to make some kind of bold statement. Quite a dry finish, but this helps give the wine vitality. Drink or hold.
