The estate
Based in Puligny-Montrachet since 1635, Domaine Olivier Leflaive has carried on the tradition of great Burgundy wines, offering one of the finest expressions of Chardonnay in the world. At the helm of one of Burgundy's leading estates, Olivier Leflaive has established himself as an iconic figure of the Côte de Beaune. Patiently built up over the years, Olivier Leflaive's vineyard now covers 17 hectares of vines on the finest terroirs in Burgundy.
The vineyard
"Epenots" is a Pommard 1er Cru wine whose name refers to this illustrious terroir near Beaune, established by the monks of Cîteaux. With an average age of 40 years, the vines grow at an altitude of 250 to 300 metres on gently sloping clay-limestone soils.
