An expressive Viognier from the Rhône Valley by Paul Jaboulet-Aîné

    The estate

Founded in 1834, the Maison Paul Jaboulet-Aîné is one of the essential names of the Rhône Valley. Based in Tain-l'Hermitage, it now cultivates around 120 hectares of vineyards spread across twenty-six appellations in the northern and southern Rhône. Since 2006, the estate has belonged to the Frey family, who have led a profound transformation of the property towards biodynamic viticulture. Delphine Frey now oversees the running of the house, continuing the commitment to excellence and respect for the terroirs that have built this historic institution's renown.

    The vineyard

This Côtes du Rhône wine comes from vines grown on clay-limestone soils in the Rhône Valley. The vineyard benefits from environmentally friendly farming practices, in keeping with the estate's biodynamic commitment.

    The vintage

The 2018 vintage offered favourable conditions for the ripening of the Viognier, allowing the grape variety to fully express its aromatic potential and characteristic richness.

    Winemaking and aging

The Incognito 2018 was crafted using traditional winemaking methods, favouring respect for the fruit and expression of the terroir.
