    The Estate
Founded in 2009 under the name Domaine des Terres de Velle, the estate was acquired in July 2023 by the Solexia group and renamed Domaine Pierre Vincent in 2024. Owned by Hervé Kratiroff and Eric Versini, it is managed by Pierre Vincent, former general manager of Domaine Leflaive. Established in Auxey-Duresses in the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, this seven-hectare estate cultivates sixteen prestigious appellations, including Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru and several Premiers Crus. Its vines, averaging 58 years old, are gradually being converted to biodynamics, producing limited micro-cuvées of fewer than 900 bottles.

    The Vineyard
The Ez Blanches climat is located above the famous Clos des Chênes, at an altitude that can reach 350 meters at the forest edge, bordering Monthélie. The estate works a tiny 0.34-hectare parcel planted in 1959 on this Volnay terroir. The name of the lieu-dit, recorded as early as 1507 in the form "En Belange", refers to a pure spring and very calcareous soil. "Ez" is the medieval contraction of "En les", meaning "In the white lands". The soils are composed of very calcareous marls and benefit from a south-east exposure. The cultivation is currently in conversion to organic farming.

    Winemaking and Aging
Volnay Village "Ez Blanches" 2023 is made with 50% whole cluster. After cold pre-fermentation maceration, vatting extends over 15 days. Aging takes place for 18 months in 228-liter oak barrels with approximately 20% new wood. The wine is then transferred to stainless steel tanks before bottling.

    Grape Variety
    100% Pinot Noir.
