"Less but better" is the motto of Domaine Les Poëte.

Following a year of searching for a terroir that would bring his project to life, Guillaume Sorbe, a passionate winegrower, planted Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grapes in 2001, in addition to a parcel of Gamay Noir with white juice planted in 1948.

Benefiting from an optimal sun exposure, these vineyards are planted on a hillside upon clay-limestone soils that blend fine sand and flinty clay (also known as "perruche").

Driven by a philosophy of respect for the earth, ecosystems and living organisms, the estate produces Loire wines that are renowned for their precision, finesse and aromatic richness.

Produced in the Vin de France and Pouilly-Fumé appellations, and resulting from a rigorous plot-based approach, Domaine Les Poëte wines are a harmonious and refined expression of the fine terroirs of the Loire.
