Ramos Pinto Vintage 2015: A great Porto
Founded in 1880, Ramos Pinto is a historic domain in Porto that belongs to the Louis Roederer family. A jovial mix between tradition and modernity, Ramos Pinto is one of the leading producers of Porto wines. The producer owns four estates, covering a total area of 350 hectares. Ramos Pinto Vintage 2015 is the product of an exceptionally high-quality harvest. The wine is aged for two years before bottling. Only 8 000 bottles of this cuvee have been produced and are of the highest quality.
With its dark-red colour and purple reflections, Ramos Pinto Vintage 2015 reveals complex aromas. Fragrances of ripe red fruits, violets, and strawberries develop. This Porto wine is very intense on the palate, presenting a freshness that cannot be duplicated. Flavours of ripe cherries, raspberries and bitter dark chocolate unite for a wonderful experience in the mouth. The tannins are elegant and harmonious. The finish is exceptionally long and persistent. Incredible ageing potential.
