The wine oscillates between cherry and pencil-lead notes, with a very intense touch of blackcurrant. Its lovely silky attack bounces off ripe, creamy fruit. This is a friendly Nuits-Saint-Georges with depth, length, and beautifully managed élevage.

An expressive, spicy nose, typically Côte de Nuits, with more tension than in the Corton and more immediate harmony on the palate. Overall fairly supple, yet with substance and real class. Peak around 2030.
