Tasting
Appearance
This wine reveals a magnificent golden hue, enhanced by bright green highlights.
Nose
Wonderfully refined and particularly elegant, the aromatic bouquet opens with subtle scents of white flowers and hawthorn.
Palate
The attack is generous, ample and velvety. The palate evolves with a beautiful acidic persistence towards a mineral salinity typical of the estate. The finish stands out with a delicate chalky texture that brings great depth and complexity to the whole, marking a remarkable expression of its terroir for this vintage.
Serving and cellaring
This great white wine can be enjoyed until around 2032.
The mineral elegance of a Pessac-Léognan white wine by Château de Fieuzal
The estate
Although its lands have been cultivated since the 17th century, the Château de Fieuzal wine estate was truly established in the early 19th century in the Bordeaux region. Classified as a Grand Cru of Graves in 1959, this prestigious property has experienced a renaissance since its acquisition in 2001 by the Quinn family. Today, Lochlann and Brenda Quinn oversee this 70-hectare vineyard. The estate stands out for its environmental commitment, certified HVE 3, ISO 14001 and Bee Friendly.
The vineyard
Located in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, the terroir benefits from soils made up of gravel and ancient white stones, promoting excellent drainage and the release of solar heat. The Eau Blanche stream runs through the land, providing precious moisture during hot years.
The vintage
The harvest for this vintage took place early, beginning on 19 August 2025 and ending on 27 August 2025. Alcohol content: 12.8% vol.
Grape varieties
This wine comes from a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon.
