The elegance and freshness of a white Burgundy
The Estate
Founded in 1979 in Marsannay-la-Côte, Domaine Bruno Clair is a key name in Burgundy. Heir to the renowned Clair-Daü estate, Bruno Clair now runs the property with the support of his children. The vineyard spans 27 hectares across several villages. Known for its pragmatic approach and highly sustainable viticulture, the estate produces classic wines that faithfully reflect the identity of their respective terroirs.
The Vineyard
The grapes come from plots located within the Marsannay appellation. The vines benefit from an ideal exposure and thrive on the clay-limestone soils typical of the region.
The Vintage
2023 stands out for its favourable climatic conditions, which allowed the grapes to reach fine ripeness while retaining excellent freshness.
Winemaking and Ageing
The vinification of this white wine begins with gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place slowly, followed by careful ageing in oak barrels and vats to preserve the purity of the fruit and refine the wine's structure.
Grape Variety
Chardonnay (100%).
