Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue : Musigny Grand cru 2023

65 ares (1.61 acres) divided in two lots: one-third in Grand Musigny in the northern sector, two-thirds in the southerly Petit Musigny section. 15% new oak. 8–9 barrels produced. Cask sample. Pale gold. Dry with a quite grippy tannic character. Apple, pear and vineyard peach with a distinct flinty note. A very individual wine with a dry, salty, finish. (MH)
