Domaine du Cellier aux Moines : Givry 1er cru "Clos du Cellier aux Moines" 2015

Givry 1er Cru Clos du Cellier aux Moines du Domaine du Cellier aux Moines is a single-variety Pinot Noir produced in the Givry 1er Cru appellation. This cuvee is produced from grapes grown on 4 small parcels with a total surface area of 4.7 hectares. The vines planted on the hillside grow on a clay-limestone, stony, silt and marl mixture. The wine is aged in oak barrels (1/3 of which are new), for an average of 16-18 months.

Givry 1er Cru Clos du Cellier aux Moines 2015 from Domaine du Cellier aux Moines has a deep garnet colour. The nose develops fresh aromas of black fruits (cherries, blueberries) mixed with spicy notes. The tannins are dense in the mouth but very sweet. In the mouth, there are elegant flavours of liquorice. Very good potential for ageing.
