The 2022 Chablis Vieille Voye has an austere, malic nose that doesn’t quite deliver the energy to pull off this style. The palate is fresh and sharp on entry, but there’s something rather monotone about this Chablis, and it runs out of ideas on the finish. Early-drinking. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.
