Louis Jadot stands out for the consistency of its cuvées and its iconic visual identity.
The vineyard
This Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes 2023 comes from the Climat Les Chenevottes, a prestigious premier cru of the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation, located on the Côte de Beaune. The vines thrive on hillsides benefiting from excellent exposure, rooted in perfectly drained clay-limestone soils. The vineyard is managed using environmentally friendly practices, promoting the vitality of the vines and the pure expression of this exceptional terroir.
The vintage
In Burgundy, 2023 was characterised by overall warmer weather conditions. The growing cycle was marked by occasional periods of drought, resulting in faster ripening of the grapes.
