The elegance and freshness of a Bordeaux rosé wine
The estate
The origin of the name of the Domaine de La Solitude can be traced back to the rule of the Holy Family community: to pray in the silence of solitude. The community settled on the estate during the 19th century. The sisters decided to entrust the vineyard management to external operators. Since 1993, Olivier Bernard has overseen the management of the estate. A very old property in Martillac, Domaine de la Solitude stands out for the quality of its Pessac-Léognan wines, offering excellent value for money, approachable in their youth and destined for fine aging.
The vineyard
Rosé de la Solitude comes from a high-quality terroir in the Bordeaux region. The vines benefit from gravelly soils that promote excellent drainage, as well as an ideal microclimate for optimal berry ripening. The estate places particular importance on preserving biodiversity and maintaining the natural balance of its ecosystem.
Blend
Cabernet sauvignon and merlot.
